Follow us on a journey through a Summer of Solace. We are hosting a child from Afghanistan this summer through an organization called Solace for the Children. Our Afghan daughter, Fatima, will live with us for six weeks beginning on June 1st. She is traveling to Jacksonville along with 17 other children and 3 interpreters. She will receive medical exams and minor treatment during her stay and most importantly she will get to enjoy a fun, safe time with our family.
I like these pictures because it shows how much you guys love her and how much you will miss her. I'm happy to see her having fun.
